Ray-Ban is a brand of sunglasses and medical equipment, founded in 1937 by Bausch & Lomb.
In 1999 Bausch & Lomb sold the brand to Italian group Luxottica for $640 million.
Ray-Ban is the world's most famous and largest eyewear manufacturer.
In 1933, the US Air Force ordered Ray-Ban glasses for its soldiers serving in the air.
It was used by one of the most famous American generals, as well as the biggest artists and movie stars.
And then it received a great public welcome.
